Icenine is a bite-sized ice cube that is filled with a short drink or a shot. Due to the lower freezing point of alcohol, the inside of Icenine will stay liquid while the outside is frozen. The result is an unique taste experience and a completely new way to enjoy drinks. Icenine is consumed directly and melts within exactly nine seconds in your mouth. Originated in a project about additive manufacturing in gastronomy Icenine was developed beyond concept stage and is currently developed further within the startup Icenine. The development of Icenine included a toolset for manual production of Icenine and an automated production process.
